Sales Development Representative (SDR)
We are looking for a full time Sales Development Representative to join our client based in Rochester.
Your role with our client will be to seek out new business opportunities through the use of social media, email, telephone, outreach etc. By reaching out and contacting potential customers, you will be able to develop relationships with potential Business Development Managers. You must be able to use cold calling as a sales technique and have experience doing so.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial attitude and have the capability to hit KPI’s and to be comfortable doing so.
You will be performing regular follow-up calls and emails to facilitate communication with existing customers to ensure they are happy with the service they are being given and to help identify potential new needs.
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the marketplace
Arrange meetings with potential new customers and sales teams
Qualify leads through marketing campaigns
Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails and through social media platforms
Try and re-engage with leads from company database
Report to Business Development Manager on weekly results
Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role with a minimum of 1 years’ experience
Experience of outbound sales calls
Experience with multiple sales techniques
Track record of achieving sales KPI’s
Experience with CRM software
Good understanding of Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills
