There is a full time and two part-time roles being created at this Harry Colt designed members golf course. The successful applicants will report directly to the Director of Golf. The aim of Golf Services is to provide a first class golf experience for all members and guests at Canterbury Golf Club. They will be required to ensure the efficient running of the golf course, driving range and all golf events at Canterbury Golf Club. Main tasks include, but are not limited to:-
1. To open and close the driving range 7 days a week. Ensure that the balls are picked and cleaned every day and that the range buildings are clean and tidy. Please liaise with the Senior Teaching Professional who oversees the range for the DoG.
2. Ensure that the buggies and trollies are cleaned, presented, fully charged and put away on a daily basis.
3. To oversee the 1st tee and assist with the pace of play for all golfers.
4. Keep the locker rooms clean, tidy and all products topped up.
5. Ensure that the pace of play is maintained and that all groups maintain their place on the course
These positions require the successful applicants to have good golfing experience and knowledge, with the understanding that most of the working day is spent outdoors.
