Based in Maidstone you will work for a growing automotive business, based out of their operational site.
Working within a small team, you will be to provide financial support with a variety of accounting tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal input, and general administration tasks. Reporting to the Management Accountant you will be a fundamental part of the Finance team.
Key Duties
* Maintenance of Balance Sheet accounts to audit level standard
* Assist with Month end processes, including analysis and reconciliations for four different Business Units
* Prepare and post monthly prepayments, accruals and internal re-charges
* Journal input
* Liaise with Managers to obtain monthly Financial Information
* Assist MA with monthly reports and distribute to Senior Managers (KPI's, flash sales, productivity)
* Credit Card and petty cash reconciliation, allocation and postings
* Purchase and Sales Ledger including consolidate billing
* Provide support to Credit Control, including any analysis required and chasing for debt
* Assist in analysing overhead cost control throughout the division
* Assist MA in setting up analysis models on a monthly basis
* Ensure all process are up to date and correctly documented
* Maintaining Audit evidence file
* Undertake stocktakes and Fixed Assets verification
* Provide support and cover to other areas of Finance as appropriate
* Assist MA with ad hoc projects and analysis
To apply you will have experience within management accounts with strong reconciliation and excel skills. You will have good knowledge of financial systems and be able to multi task.
