HR GO Recruitment are currently seeking a Part Time Senior Residential Worker (24 hours per week) to work in Ashford. This will include working in a small team to support to children and young adults ages 13-18.

Main duties include:

Working as part of a team to support individuals and contribute their individual care plans
*

To work with colleagues and professionals to find ways to effect change to complex or challenging behaviour
*

To support individuals in a bespoke, tailored way in line with their support plans an
*

Undertake specific training related to improving the outcomes for the individuals in residence
*

Take part in regular meetings and reviews to ensure information is shared effectively and in a timely manner
*

To work with families of the individuals to ensure new strategies and plans are shared and taken forward



Person Specification:



*

Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care essential
*

Direct work and caring for disabled individuals with proven experience is essential for this role
*

Experience of working in a residential or group setting is required
*

Ability to recognise the needs of an individual as top priority
*

Ability to use initiative
*

Accuracy in report writing and effective communication skills
*

Experience of positively supporting individuals with behaviours that are challenging is advantageous







Starting salary of £25,238 per annum, pro rata (£16,436 for 24 hours per week per annum)
