We are looking for a trainee insurance broker to join our growing team in Sevenoaks. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a desire to learn to become an insurance broker and be competent on computers and Microsoft Word and Excel.
Job Purpose:
To deliver a quality service to existing and new customers, to maximise customer satisfaction, margins, renewal retention and new business conversion, and to improve business profitability and own knowledge of insurance.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
•To maximise margins and renewal retention by ensuring that the company procedures are carried out in a timely manner
•To maximise new business conversion through effective sales closure.
•To maximise cross-selling and up-selling opportunities through proactive initiatives, such as capturing customers’ renewal dates.
•To implement marketing initiatives that generate organic leads.
•To generate revenue through appropriate referrals to partners.
•To process mid-term adjustments on customer’s policies, and challenge and endeavour to save cancellation requests.
•To maintain service levels in accordance with customer expectations and the company service standards.
•To handle customer enquiries received by telephone, post, e-mail, social media and other means.
Qualifications:
Essential
At least 1 year experience in a customer servicing role.
An ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Competent using PCs and Microsoft Word and Excel
£16,029 to £17,000 per annum starting salary
