An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our client, a leading global Manufacturer based in Broadstairs.

This role will be working within our client's Industrial and Packaging team within Research and Development. You will support chemists in the formulation, preparation and testing of inks to ensure new products meet customer requirements.

Your duties will include involvement in ink design and testing to support technology developments and root cause investigations to resolve performance issues. Although you will be trained in performing evaluations, a degree in Chemistry is essential for this role.

The Candidate

Applicants must have a Chemistry Degree for this role. You should be enthusiastic, showing good attention to detail and be eager to learn formulating skills. Strong IT skills, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Office software, is highly desirable.

You will have experience of working in a laboratory environment.
