MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Salary - £40,000 - £50,000
Location – Medway

When hired, the Management Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller and look to take ownership of the monthly management accounts, as well as aid in the year end and other statutory obligations.

You will be responsible for:
• Produce month end management accounts
• Review monthly balance sheets
• Consolidate management accounts
• Maintain a fixed asset register
• Assist with Corporation Tax and tax returns
• Identify expenditure variances and possible solutions
• Annual budgets forecasts and year end processes
• General reporting and project work
The successful candidate will be fully qualified with either ACA, ACCA or CIMA and display the following qualities:
• Able to produce concise, accurate management accounts on schedule
• Strong understanding of VAT
• Able to work autonomously and deputise for the Financial Controller when necessary
• Intricate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
