Our client, an established manufacturing company based in Whitstable, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Development Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
The role will be paying a competitive salary.
As the Senior Development Engineer, you willâ¦
* Manage technology development activities.
* Lead product development activities.
* Project Management.
* Design, develop and deliver commercial solutions.
* Ensure customer satisfaction via high performance on the product development delivery and customer quality performance metrics.
* Ensure that the client is fast and flexible to quote and achieve lead times.
* Provide, an engineering development function to enhance the Engineering team's capability, in delivering constant productivity improvements that improve cash flow or reduce costs.
* Ensure that product cost targets are consistently met.
Person Specification:
* Relevant degree qualified
* Good mechanical engineering skills
* CAD experience, including 3D design tools; SolidEdge preferred
* Project Management experience. MS Project preferred.
* Ability to work alone or as a member of a small team.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
