An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our internal Marketing team, based in Maidstone, Kent. This role is for 35 hours per week on a fixed term contract for approximately 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave.

What we are looking for
We are looking for a marketing professional with a digital bias who has a background that covers the full marketing mix, successful applicants will be required to support the wider marketing team with certain activities.

This is a busy year with the business celebrating its 125th anniversary in which the Marketing and Business Development team play a key role. You will be required to assist the team on specific marketing, events and business development initiatives in line with the strategic objectives.
Along with helping to develop the website and ensuring content is relevant, consistent with the firm’s key messages, optimises and supports client and new business development campaigns. You will provide advice and guidance to practice areas on how to promote themselves digitally, driving engagement and working with the Marketing Executive’s to help increase reach through marketing channels.
You will also have responsibilities to include management of digital agencies, conducting research and analysis, management of our digital platforms (including Twitter and LinkedIn) along with helping create online content to improve engagement.
The Role:
• Daily management of social media
o Liaise with teams within the business to ensure content is scheduled daily and inline with the Brachers style and tone of voice
o Managing reactions to social media notifications and messages
o Provide advice and training to staff on LinkedIn best practices
• Website content
o Optimise website blogs and content to SEO best practice guides, utilising software including SEMRush and Yoast
o Edit content and upload new content to the website
• Website redevelopment
o Assist with all aspects required with regards to the development of the new Brachers website, ensuring that you follow best practice guidance with technical and on-page SEO techniques
• Email
o Working with others in the team, create email campaigns using Campaign Monitor
o Monitoring and updating email signatures for the businesses to reflect team marketing messages
• Online Surveys as required by the team
• Assist with all other aspects of digital marketing as required, such as PPC campaigns, video content and digital reporting.
• Supporting the wider marketing team as required and to include:
o Internal communications such as ‘Good News Friday’ – a weekly round up
o Making amends to design elements and literature and liaising with external design and print agencies
o Assisting with large events such as the Ploughing Match and Leeds Castle Classical Concert sponsorship as required
o Assisting the BD Manager with the layout of tender documents
o CRM work as required by the team


Are you the right person?
You will be a proactive and creative individual with previous digital marketing experience preferably within a professional services environment.
You will have a strong commercial awareness, along with the ability to manage your workload effectively to ensure the delivery of high quality work within agreed timeframes. Likewise, as part of a team you will need to adopt a ‘can do’ approach and be flexible to meet the needs of the business. Good communication skills are essential to the role so you must be confident in dealing with people across all areas of the business.
You will have had experience in digital marketing techniques and best practices for areas such as social media, search engine optimisation, writing content for the web and using a Content Management System (CMS). You should also have excellent organisation and time management skills in order to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Experience with Adobe Indesign and Photoshop would be desirable
