My client is flourishing Kent based manufacturing SME. Impressive recent growth is the start of a long term strategic plan, to both open new markets and expand product ranges to augment future development. As such, a new Finance Manager is sought to head up the small finance team.
The successful candidate will enjoy a hands on, broad remit and will include:
- Production and reporting of the monthly management accounts, with full analysis and reporting
- Weekly, monthly and annual forecasts
- Preparation of the KPI suite, to include cyclical and flash reporting
- Bank and Balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Development of internal controls and procedures
- VAT and other statutory returns
- Overseeing all transactional accounting requirements
Applications are sought from qualified or QBE candidates, but crucially with experience of working within a number one role within an SME. Given the nature of the business, this position will require someone who enjoys a hands on role; equally adept at processing the more day to day affairs within the function, as much as liaising with senior management on more strategic areas. Advanced excel and an ability to handle a changing workload is required.
