New Appointments Group are proud to be representing our client, a leader in the education sector based in East Kent who are looking to appoint a Human Resources Manager to join them at an exciting and challenging time.

As a stand-alone HR Manager you will possess integrity, credibility and you will be instrumental in assisting with the continued growth of this educational institution. The overall aim of this role is to ensure the effective and efficient support of the business in the lead up to an inspection in the next 18 months.

The successful candidate with ensure all policies procedures and personnel issues are up to date and you will be the lead on all HR related matters including Recruitment, ER, business reviews and a variety of projects.

You will lead and maintain procedures to ensure that Safeguarding and child protection is maintained at all times and you will be responsible for the performance management of both teaching and support staff.

Knowledge/Skills

* CIPD or relevant experience within a similar role;
* Strong working knowledge of HR ideally within schools or education;
* Well organised in processing paperwork;
* Sensitive to personal information and treating it with the utmost discretion;
* Working knowledge of compliance practice related to schools and GDPR;
* An effective communicator, good problem solving skills;
* The ability to inspire and lead a number of staff through drive, determination and commitment.
