Opportunity for a payroll administrator to join a growing head office finance team based in West Kent
Your new company
Hays are working with a company within the Health Care industry based in west Kent to recruit a new Payroll Administrator. This company are currently entering an energetic period of growth in their Head Office, specifically their Finance team.
Your new role
Working as part of a team you will be expected to get involved as a team player and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- Answering queries from staff on all aspects of their pay and benefits
- Full month end processing including RTI submissions and collation of PAYE and pension deductions
- Ensuring national living wage and national minimum wage compliance
- Liaising with onsite accounts teams to ensure flow of data into the payroll process
- Collation of staff data for compliance and group reporting purposes
- Identifying inefficiencies and design new ways of working
- Full start to finish process for employees on a monthly payroll
- Adding new starters, amendment to tax codes, pension contributions, student loan and court orders
- Processing company sick pay
What you'll need to succeed
As there are many elements to this role involving working with data, attention to detail and accuracy is essential. We are looking for someone with proven Payroll Administration who is confident with all Microsoft Office applications. In addition, effective time management and good written/verbal communication is important.
