Our multidisciplinary agile teams have been successfully delivering high profile content managed websites and digital products since 2001. Our teams find themselves working in some diverse environments such as TV stations like ITV, the Palaces of the British Royal Household, the country's top museums including Imperial War Museums and Royal Museums Greenwich, Government institutions like the National Crime Agency and Food Standards Agency, not-for-profits making the world a better place, including the Tony Blair Institute and London Zoo, cultural and event centres such as the Southbank Centre, membership organisations including the British Film Institute, higher education establishments such as the University of Derby and, finally, any number of pubs owned by Shepherd Neame. We've even done work for the technology giants such as AWS, when they need our very particular set of skills.

You'll also get to work with a wide variety of the latest technologies. Our diverse client portfolio means we need to apply many different technologies in different situations. Recent projects have included developing isomorphic React applications, producing strongly typed functional code, deployment pipelines to Google Firebase and AWS Lambda, building Dockerised infrastructure and contributing to Open Source projects.

We run a successful graduate training programme for computer science graduates who are looking for a unique opportunity to build a career in web software development.

You'll be based in our friendly Canterbury studio - so no travel, commuting or need to relocate if you're already living locally. And you'll be working on exciting digital projects for some of the UK's leading brands from day one.

Graduates joining us on our Graduate Software Developer scheme should hold or expect to achieve a degree in computer science, software engineering or similar. Relevant workplace experience, such as a "year in industry" or summer placement, is an advantage too.

You’ll undertake a one year structured training programme while working alongside some of the UK’s top open source developers. You'll also get all the benefits of working for a progressive, forward thinking digital agency:

- structured training scheme to help you succeed
- personal career mentor to help you learn and progress your software development career
- 24 days paid holiday per year
- a £500 annual personal budget for hardware, software or accessories
- a MacBook laptop with the latest software
- a tax-free bikes and e-bike scheme.
- a £250 annual Wellness Fund
- paid time off for charity volunteering

Deeson is part of The Panoply - a group of companies that work collaboratively with clients to solve complex business problems. Our sister agencies include Manifesto, Notbinary and FutureGov.
