As one of the leading housing and care providers in Kent, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Compliance Officer to join our friendly team at our head office in Cuxton overlooking the river Medway, 2 minutes from the M2 and 10 minutes from the M20.

Due to continual growth and expansion, we are looking to appoint a Compliance Officer to manage and co-ordinate the regulatory process that ensure our services are compliant with all statutory UK wide regulations including the Care Quality Commission.

Rapport Housing and Care is a registered charity and social housing provider with over 50 years experience of delivering housing and care for people aged over 55 in multiple locations in the south east.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

o Work with Directors to develop and implement an effective health and safety and quality strategy
o Lead the Safeguarding and Health and Safety Forum
o Leading and developing processes and systems
o Promoting collaboration and transfer of best practice within and between locations.
o Report writing
o Monitoring accidents and incidents
o Lead quality and health and safety programmes when required
o Be the Organisations Data Protection Officer (DPO)
o To lead and develop the Emergency and Business Continuity Plans.
o Maintain positive communication and working relationships
o Uphold the Organisations values
