Credit Controller

Salary: £26,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

The Job Role:

* Adhere and enforce the MISL Credit Terms to ensure prompt collection of premiums, thus improving operational cash flow.
* To reconcile complex statements & bordereau's, either manually or by way of auto reconciliation tools.
* Unravelling and solving old queries relating to statement and bordereau's to reduce older debtors.
* Investigating historical aged debt
* Issuing cheque payments to intermediaries
* Identification, investigation and resolution of account queries.
* Identification of intermediaries who make no payment or an inadequate payment and therefore taking effective actions to ensure future compliance.
* Consider Credit Risk to MISL at all times and refer to Credit Control Team Leader any intermediary considered to be a concern.
* Carry out administration and utilisation of diaries and system driven reports.
* Provide support to the Credit Control Team Leader by ensuring delivery of own & team performance against agreed objectives, KPI's and SLA's.

Skills:

* Good work ethic and a real enjoyment of a credit control role
* Keen eye for detail
* Methodical approach
* Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills
* Able to work off own initiative
* Hunger to reduce debt
