My client is a well-respected local success story based in West-Kent. This FMCG business is looking for a new Financial Controller to help guide the business forward and take ownership of the analysis and financial reporting for the company.
The responsibilities for this role will be:
- The management of year end reporting and the audit process
- Compliance with tax and regulatory reporting
- Reviewing and improving accounting systems and procedures
- Maintaining a strong financial control environment
- Overseeing the treasury function, including the management of the foreign currency exposures of the business
- Data analysis
- Cash consolidation and cost control
- Cash management
- Cash flow forecast consolidation & investigations
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a recognised accountancy qualification or relevant background, an analytical and enquiring mind, determination to ensure the integrity of data at all times and strong inter-personal skills, capable of communicating with all levels and disciplines.
