Are you looking to make a difference to the lives of adults with learning disabilities?
We are looking for Support Workers to join our client's residential homes on the outskirts of Ashford. You will be on a mix of long days, short days, weekends, sleep-ins and occasional awake nights - all allocated on a monthly rota.
As a Support Worker you will be working with adults with a variation of complex needs, providing good quality care and support based on their needs, assisting in all aspects of their daily life, including personal care, helping to reach their potential and support them with their successes.
The successful Support Workers will be flexible, have good interpersonal skills, as well as good written and verbal communications with an outstanding caring nature.
Knowledge of autism, diabetes, epilepsy and dementia, as well as special lifting equipment is desirable but not essential.
You will hold a full UK driving licence as you will need to be able to use a company vehicle to carry out appointments, day trips etc.
