Farrer Barnes is currently working alongside a well renowned education institution in aid of recruiting an HR & Payroll Officer on a temp to perm basis. To be considered for the role it is essential that you are available immediately or on short notice.
Currently undergoing the implementation of the Access payroll system, the school are looking for an experience Payroll Officer who can assist in bringing the new system into place. The school are open to bring someone in on an interim basis solely for the implementation project, but equally would be happy for the candidate to stay on in a permanent capacity in a `business as usual` role.
Working in collaboration with the accountancy function, you will be accountable for the implementation of the payroll system, maintaining a portfolio of 350 staff, new starters/ leavers and ad hoc responsibilities as required.
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have experience working within a similar position. The client are willing to entertain experienced payroll professionals from either a Finance or an HR bias.
It is also essential that you have strong systems exposure. Relevant payroll qualifications are also desirable.
