Job Purpose

To ensure quality work across all client campaigns; efficiently, profitably and on-time

To drive clients forward, enabling them to deliver their wider marketing goals with The Agency

To direct the junior team; educating, nurturing and helping them develop as professionals.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Client Service

Deliver the standard expected of The Agency for excellent account management and marketing delivery - planning, implementing and reviewing top class work for every campaign and client

Be an Ambassador of the agency for clients, industry, prospects and employees

Have an explicit understanding of what great client service looks like

Deliver consistent exemplary service and positive agency interactions

Direct and oversee the management of specific key client relationships, establishing yourself as a trusted and reliable advisor and implementer, delivering day to day value

Work with the senior management team to develop effective account strategies

Be a trusted Brand Guardian - understand the brand, its roles and aspirations and bring these to life ensuring this is reflected in all written and visual content development

Lead integrated brand strategies across the whole client portfolio to boost client brand awareness

Define, deliver and review key campaign KPIs in consultation with the client

Manage the team effectively to ensure accounts are profitable and efficient, reporting to senior management team regularly

Evaluate on-going client relationships and account successes

Evaluate and share credible client satisfaction measures with senior agency team

Identify and solve potential client hotspots with the Client Services Director / Managing Director as soon as they emerge

Insight, Strategy & Creativity

Interrogate, analyse and evaluate industry data to ensure clients are updated and informed of key industry developments as soon as possible

Understand and analyse the strategic process, working collaboratively with the Client Services Director to develop and implement creative, strategic platforms

Keep pace with media developments in terms of contacts, titles and publishers, as well as understanding the new communications opportunities available

Accordingly, develop new approaches to sell new services to clients
