The Netbox Group have launched a Managed IT Services division and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Desktop Technical Support Engineer / IT Analyst 2nd Line. The role covers all aspects of 1st and 2nd line desktop support including logging calls into Service Manager, business application support, some minor development and supporting clients working in the office and remotely from home and remote offices.
The 2nd Line IT Engineer Role:
Work on Project and BAU work.
Provide IT Support and troubleshoot issues that arise using a logical and structured process ensuring client issues are dealt with in a highly professional manner.
Demonstrate strong awareness of data protection, security policies and IT best practice.
Work with 3rd party vendors.
Strong technical skills with Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Exchange Server and Office 365 support.

Strong analytical & problem solving skills
+ Currently or recently working within an MSP or various IT based environments
+ Strong technical experience up to 2nd Line
+ Strong Experience with Microsoft Intune and Office
+ Experience configuring and managing Windows Server 2013+
+ Experience supporting and managing Windows Operating Systems Windows 7 to Windows 10
+ Patching and updating Windows Operating Systems (ideally using Connectwise and intune)
+ Experience with Microsoft Azure
+ Management experience of anti-virus and anti-malware systems
+ Working knowledge of WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, Switches, firewalls, endpoints and patching experience, wireless networks and VLANs
+ Experience with installation and remote support of desktops, printers and network tools
The role will both be internal (75%) and field based (25%) of the time.
