We are a successful Estate Agents and Lettings business based in the Medway towns looking for a Part Time Finance Director or Commercial Accountant fo a few days a month to work with the Directors and Management to operator the business efficiently and effectively.
The business has a full time bookkeeper and effective management team, however, the input of a pro active Part Time Finance Director is valued to help ensure the business is working to its maximum effect.
This position is possibly suited ideally to a semi retired commercial FD, ideally best suited to an individual thats been used to working with smaller independent businesses.
Some of duties include:
• Oversee production of monthly, quarterly and year end reports & management accounts
• Oversee preparation of cash flow forecasts
• Preparation of data for statutory accounts
• Liaison with reporting accountants/tax advisors
• Oversee management of P&L and Balance Sheet
• Cost control & variance analysis
• Management of revenue recognition
• Payroll & pension management
Ideally you will be:
• Qualified or QBE
• Experience of working in a commercially focused in-house accounting role
• Comfortable managing a varied workload and taking responsibility for an entire finance function
• Experience of Xero Business Cloud Accounting
