We are currently seeking a Part Time Finance Administrator to join a growing Freight Forwarding Company based in Dover.
If you are experienced in all aspects of Finance Administration, this is an exciting opportunity to join the company's dedicated team in a varied and fulfilling new role.
About the role
The successful Finance Administrator will be managing the finance processes of the company, as well as supporting the busy operations team with any administration functions.
As the Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for:
* The weekly production of sales invoices to customers, with associated accounting reports
* The weekly management of supplier purchase invoices, including resolving queries and batching invoices for payment
* Daily banking duties
* New customer credit references and status enquiries, as well as existing customer credit renewals
* Preparing Certificates of Insurance and managing monthly insurance declarations
Skill Requirements:
* Knowledge of standard purchase ledger and sales ledger management procedures
* Attention to detail when producing invoices, reports and other documents
* Ability to prioritise, organise and manage time efficiently within the team
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills when dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues
* A proven track record in financial procedures is a distinct advantage
