1st Line support, 3 Month Contract, Entry Level, Central Brighton

A charity based in Brighton with 3 other offices across the UK.

Your new role

The charity are looking for someone to a large mobile deployment project. You will be in charge of the whole life cycle, from arranging ordering and delivery to support. Main duties are;


* Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to

* Order Smartphones
* Take delivery of handsets
* Resolve handset issues
* Activate SIM's



* Liaise with colleagues across the UK to

* Manage orders
* Distribute Smartphones
* Act as a central point for technical queries
* Ability to ask intelligent and curious questions to be able to remotely diagnose issues
* Set-up Smartphones before dispatching them
* Test the self-enrolment process
* Improve & simplify the self-enrolment process
* Perform remote diagnosis
* Log incidents and service requests using Marval (Service Desk tool)



What you'll need to succeed

This is a great chance for someone looking to start their career into IT or someone looking to get back into it. Technical knowledge or previous experience is not required, rather a can do attitude and good aptitude for learning and development;


* Excellent customer service skills ideally gained in a high demand customer environment
* Appropriate keyboard and computer skills
* Knowledge and experience of Smartphones
* Great telephony skills with active listening
* Ability to work in a small team and contribute to the success of a wider technical team
