Purchase Ledger Assistant | Maidstone, Kent | £18,000 - £22,000
Our client, a successful, well-established services business is seeking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their friendly and long-standing team.
This exciting opportunity would suit an individual who either has previous purchase ledger experience. Responsibilities for this busy role include:
• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes on a daily basis
• Maintain accurate and real time document archiving
• Allocation of Direct Debits
• Monthly reconciliations of supplier accounts
• Monthly Aged Creditor Reports
• Debit balance monitoring, and resolution as required
• Obtain outstanding documentation from suppliers
• Liaise with management team regarding aged and disputed supplier invoices
• Monthly and bi-weekly payment runs (Cheque & BACs) – prepare and review prior to management authorisation
• Set-up of supplier accounts
• Assisting with yearend audit
• Other adhoc duties
Candidates should be bright and numerate, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
