Are you an experienced Engineering Technician seeking a new challenge in a growing and supportive business?

We are supporting a local client to appoint an experienced Technician to an exciting position. ( A trainee level can be considered if you have a minumum of one year experience on a shop floor and a formal engineering qualification)

Candidates will be working in a machining and plating workshop, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and assessing work as it arrives, assisting the workshop with allocation of workload and processing and verifying all technical specifications and associated data.

A strong and effective communicator is required, who is proven at managing a busy workload and holds a strong mechanical engineering understanding across relevant aerospace industry fields.

You will be looking for the next step in your career and be qualified with a relevant Mechanical Engineering subject. Numerate, literate and with credible competency in MS Word and Excel, along with ability to read complex drawings, use a variety of measuring equipment and provide accurate information from these results.

Candidates would benefit from experience gained within a 5S and/or Continuous Improvement workshop and be capable of adhering to stringent quality processes and standards
