Our Client based in Sittingbourne is currently looking to recruit an experienced Customer Services Advisor in a temporary booking (9th December 2019 – 3rd February 2020)


Main duties/ responsibilities:

• Total customer support, co-ordinating all contact and service provision between the customer and our Client.
• Streamlined conversion of the ordering process from customer input into the ERP system. This involves all aspects necessary from initial customer contact for enquiry, order receipt, pricing, availability and order entry, through to final invoicing of the order.
• Pro-actively managing customer orders and their status at all stages of the order process. This involves all aspects necessary from initial customer contact for enquiry, order receipt, pricing, availability and order entry, through to final invoicing of the order.
• Consistent application of the agreed pricing structure.
• Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the account and controlling systems, following demands from customers, input on solving delays and feedback to the customer directly to provide detailed and supportive information in advance of any problems that may occur.
• Providing a constant contact point for a given range of customers, taking responsibility for all customer interaction, and providing a conduit to provide a single face to the customer whilst co-ordinating the internal activity.
• Maintaining superior relationships to provide proactive and professional support for customers.
• Providing support for the Sales organisation through information flow and feedback.

Qualifications/ knowledge:

• Minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent (A levels or equivalent – desirable).
• Must have the ability to problem solve; multi-task and build and maintain relationships with the existing client base.
• Must have previous experience in a customer service role.
• Computer literate.
• Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
• Manufacturing/ Engineering knowledge is desirable.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm.
