We are searching for a Housing Triage Officer to work at the local Council offices providing key support within the Housing Team, triaging Housing applications.
There is some degree of flexibility in terms of the ideal candidate, but we are most definitely looking for someone with a common-sense approach and not necessarily from a strong and consistent Housing background.
Perhaps estate agency, as public and private sector housing knowledge useful, although any basic knowledge of housing regulations, some idea of Tenancy Notice to Quit would be considered helpful as would any knowledge of homelessness.
You must also be empathetic to the needs of the customers, as part of this position will be customer facing within the Housing Department reception area.
A full time role within a friendly team where o the job training and support with Housing enquiries can be provided, for the right person.
Duration: up to one year and a favourable hourly rate is available depending on your experience.
Hourly Rate: largely depending on experience but as a guide £11.31 - £12.81 per hour.
