Your new company
A rapidly expanding regional main Contractor working on Medium to large Residential schemes across the Kent region. With over 15 years trading history, A full order book plus strong financial backing they have a strong market presence in the West Kent area with 6 current live sites and a further 3 due on site by the new year. A unique company structure alongside some excellent HA relationships make this company one of the fastest growing in their field over the last year. Their continued expansion has necessitated the need for an additional Contract manager to join the operations team working from the Kent office situated close to Ashford.
Your new role
Working within a team of 4 reporting to the Construction director you will have Responsibility for of 2-3 projects. You will be responsible for all aspects of the build including Programming, organising services, Monitoring progress and highlighting potential delays, Overseeing the site management teams, giving input into design and sub contract meetings and generally ensuring projects are running as well as possible (with the support of the commercial and technical teams)
What you'll need to succeed
A strong Contracts management background with an Established Main contractor or House builder, You will need clear experience of working with multiple build types and be comfortable commuting across Central Kent to visit sites. Whilst there are strong commercial and technical teams for support the successful candidate will be comfortable making decisions and running their projects independently
