The role is to provide a homelessness support service to clients in the Trust’s residential properties in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, from referral to resettlement, facilitating their transition from homelessness to independence. Working as part of a team you will help develop and maintain our high quality supported accommodation services. You will participate in a psychologically informed approach service delivery, ensuring the service operates in a responsive and dynamic way to the presenting needs of the service users. You will ensure that the accommodation provides a safe and welcoming environment and that services are delivered in accordance with any required contractual, organisational and regulatory standards.
JOB TITLE: Supported Housing Officer
RESPONSIBLE TO: Support Services Co-ordinator
PURPOSE OF POST: To provide a support service to clients in the Trust’s residential properties, from referral to resettlement, facilitating their transition from homelessness to independence.
37.5 hours per week plus participation in the telephone on-call, out of hours rota.
Working with our service users based in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells
Fixed, two year contract
Subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks
