Are you looking for a part-time (30 hours) opportunity in a great working environment?
Do you have good working knowledge of payroll and accounts?
Experienced Payroll & Accounts Assistant is required to work four/ five days a week in a busy accounts department. The office uses Sage Accounts and Payroll packages.
Your Payroll and Accounts role will involve
• processing the monthly staff payroll for the company 3 sites.
• Working with the HR manager and department heads to keep accurate records.
• Processing all of the statutory returns required by HMRC for compliance
• Administering staff pension and auto-enrolment details.
• Regular reconciliation of multiple company bank accounts
• Managing the debtors’ ledger and undertaking any credit control required.
• Preparing and submitting the quarterly VAT returns
• Providing general assistance to the Financial Controller
You should be accurate in your processing and be able to meet crisp deadlines. Ideally, you be AAT qualified or have a Bookkeeping qualification and working experience of Sage software and Excel.
This is a friendly team working in a great work environment. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered. The working hours are flexible - 30 hours per week across four or five days a week. (Hourly rate £12.80 - £13.50)
The company is based in a lovely rural location near Sevenoaks, which does mean you will require your own transport.
