We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our very successful client in a rapidly growing organisation within the Travel industry. This is a full-time permanent position that will ideally suit someone that has experience winning new business within the leisure and Travel sector
The role:
The role itself will need someone that possesses excellent relationship-building and strategic thinking skills that will enable you to help identify new business opportunities within the travel insurance market.
You should have excellent communication skills and be an approachable, fun and friendly individual. You will need to be someone who enjoys teamwork and working cross functionally with various other departments throughout the business.
• You’ll utilise your list of travel trade contacts to explore new and exciting partnerships
• You’ll work cross functionally with the New Business, Commercial Finance, Product and wider insurance teams
• You’ll use your analytical skills to identify new opportunities and effectively communicate with partners and stakeholders at all levels
• Use your expert communication skills to develop and nurture long lasting relationship both internally and externally
Responsibilities:
• Creating attractive commercial proposals for the business
• Manage a portfolio of partners through tender, acquisition and onboarding
• Nurturing a pool of warm leads and identifying potential new partners
• Management of the Insurance new business budget
• Attending various trade related events and conferences globally
