Customer Service Advisors
Swale Heating are one of the biggest and most recognised heating specialists in Kent. We have been operating since 1972 - meeting the heating needs of the South East of England. We are trusted by our customers to keep them safe and warm, every day of the year.
We are currently looking to recruit for Customer Service Advisors to be based in in our Head Office in Sittingbourne, Kent.

Purpose of the role:
Our Customer Service Advisors are the first point of contact for every customer, offering help, support and guidance, being friendly, professional and empathetic using the tools and knowledge available to find the best possible solution to our customer’s query. You will receive full support, training and skills development to ensure that you can develop and grow with the company.
You will help create a winning team that is complimented on its high quality of work, customer service excellence and efficiency.
Skills & Experience:
• Experience in a customer service role (essential)
• Call handling experience (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, active listening and transferring of information
• Good IT Skills including MS Word, Excel, Email, Internet
• Ability to learn inhouse IT database system
Key Tasks include but are not limited to:
• Offering professional empathetic service to every customer contact over multiple channels including phone, email, text, and live chat.
• Providing solutions to customer queries and where needed seek help from knowledge experts
• Prioritising the types of calls booked, taking into consideration the resident’s needs.
• Accurately updating all relevant systems to provide an accurate account of our customers’ journey.
• To assist with administration tasks a required.

Location & Travel:
This role is based in our Head Office in Sittingbourne
Hours of work:
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hour per week on a shift basis Monday to Friday
Shift times: 7am to 3:30pm, 8am to 4:30pm, 9am to 5:30pm, 11am to 8pm
Saturday and Sunday times as above – 1 Weekend in every 4/5 weeks with 2 days off during the week.
