Our client is an internationally renowned manufacturer with sites around the globe. They now have a great opportunity for an experienced Web Applications Developer to join their IT team.

In this role, you'll deliver and maintain high quality mobile and desktop websites in a competitive market, using the latest technologies. You'll help to build functional, dependable features, whilst effectively problem solving to ensure new and existing systems remain bug free.

Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Vue.js and JavaScript.

Your Responsibilities:

* Create, design, build and implement brand new bespoke software for use across the globe
* Keep meticulous and detailed documentation for use in training others in the software
* Be responsible for testing the programs and quickly resolving bugs and issues with detailed notes on updates and patches
* Oversee your own project management and keep to tight deadlines
* Help build a new suite of software and tools with improved functionality from the current legacy technologies used

Required Skills and Experience:

* Highly motivated with an eagerness to learn and develop
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Friendly and approachable manner, able to deal with people at all levels to assist with queries

Essential Technical Skills:

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in web application development
* JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, MYSWL, jQuery, Vue.js, Laravel, JSON
