The Best Connection Dartford are currently seeking a 7.5t Refuse Driver to fill a position in Dartford. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid 7.5t Licence and must have 7.5t driving experience.

You will be tasked with driving with a crew to collect household refuse. This will be in an automatic vehicle. This is mostly a driving position but you will on occasion have to get out and help the crew with their collections.

Full training on the job and equipment will be provided. There will be a 3 hour induction which will include a short driving assessment.

6.45am start with a scheduled 3pm finish. Overtime available on request.



Responsibilities of the 7.5t Driver

Operate class 2 vehicle for collections of household waste.
Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
Adhering to assigned schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

7.5t Cat C1 Licence

The starting salary for this position is up to £10.50 hourly, depending on experience.
