Our client based near Sandwich are looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer (2nd Line Support) to join their company at a very exciting time. The company are currently undertaking a planned expansion across sites in the UK and offer successful applicants continued development of technical skills.

This role will be predominantly based in Sandwich but you may be required to travel to other sites, therefore a full driving license is required. If you have a minimum of 3 years' experience working within a busy IT service desk environment then contact me today.

Responsibilities

* Provide remote and on site 1st/2nd line technological support for hardware and software issues;
* Work with colleagues to collaborate on major incident recovery;
* Ensure all issues are logged into the Helpdesk System providing regular progress notes;
* Deliver exceptional customer service , share technical knowledge with colleagues and identify opportunities to improve solutions.

Required Skills:

* Minimum 3 years Avaya Telecommunications experience including upgrades, add ons, moves and changes;
* Minimum 3 years Cisco experience, including installs, upgrades, trouble shooting and day to day operations;
* Full UK Driving License (you will be expected to travel to customer sites);
* Experience of Windows Server Platforms.

Desirable Skills:

* A solid understanding of VoIP/PBX/SIP protocols;
* CCNA Qualified or equivalent experience and exposure to Cisco network and Security Firewalls;
* A good understanding of Wireless technologies.
