Accounts Assistant | Outskirts of Maidstone | £20 – 24k
A successful SME based on the outskirts of Maidstone has a vacancy for an Accounts Assistant to join them due to continued growth of the business. The role is varied and will include the following:
• Matching delivery notes/ourchase orders to purchase invoices and entering them onto the Sage System
• Check and reconcile all supplier statements to the ledger
• Deal with all purchase enquiries
• Entering new customers/suppliers onto the Sage system
• Raising sales invoices
• All aspects of credit control
• Raising purchase orders
• Posting bank receipts
• Completing supplier credit account application forms
• Carrying out customer credit checks
• Banking
• Summarising project labour hours
• Filing and general ad hoc accounts duties
The Ideal candidate will be studying towards an AAT level qualification or similar and will be available on short notice (less than 2 weeks) and have experience of Sage.
