Successful Accountancy practice has been achieving consistent growth and this has led to the need for an additional Senior Accountant. This is a permanent position and the working hours are 8.30 – 4.30.
Previous experience of working at a similar level within a practice of chartered or certified accountants is essential. It is likely that your experience as a Senior Accountant will be reinforced with an AAT Level 4, or similar qualification.
This is a highly varied role covering
• Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and Ltd Companies.
• There will also be an element of bookkeeping and preparation of client VAT returns.
• As an integral part of the accounts preparation, you be completing corporation tax returns.
• For some clients, you will also be producing monthly management accounts and relevant KPIs to highlight important business areas.
• This is a client-facing role where you will nurture business relationships.
The successful candidate will have a portfolio of clients for which they will have sole responsibility and there will be plenty of direct client contact. The clients are from a range of industry sectors, which means your daily routine will be varied and interesting.
