Interim Management Accountant - 10 Month Contract | £30,000 - £35,000 | Mid-Kent
Covering Maternity leave for a period of 10 months, this Assistant Management Accountant role will support the Financial Controller and provide assistance with management accounts reporting. The role would suit a highly organised individual with strong financial analysis skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Producing monthly management accounts in an accurate and timely manner, including the creation and posting of judgmental accrual and prepayments
* Supporting the finance team - Providing ad hoc info when required
* Reviewing the balance sheet reconciliations
* Assisting with management accounting projects
* Reviewing and adjusting bad debt provisions
* Identifying changes and improvements to be made within the management accounting function
Key Skills:
* Excellent communication skills
* Willingness to cross share work across a team
* Advanced/Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel and strong financial modelling skills essential
* Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Strong financial analysis skills
