Assistant Building Surveyor, North Kent
Our client, a construction consultancy based in North Kent are recruiting for an Assistant Building Surveyor.
Hours and benefits:
Hours: 09.00 - 17.00, Monday to Friday
Holidays: From 24 days per annum, rising to 30 days depending on length of service
Pension: Excellent contributory pension
Benefits: Life assurance
Training and Development: The company is keen to assist individuals in developing any work related professional interests and takes training seriously, providing practical and financial assistance to all personnel.
Main purpose of the role:
An Assistant Building Surveyor is required to work as part of a Group to assist in the role of Employer's Agent / Clients Representative and to undertake other surveying duties as may be required from time to time.
Duties:
* Assisting senior members of staff with Employer's Agent and Client Representative duties, on a wide range of high profile new build housing and regeneration projects within London and the surrounding Counties
* You will be responsible for working on various stages of projects from inception to completion working within a team to ensure that they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality
* You will report directly to a Partner within the Consultancy
The right candidate will have / be:
* A university degree and working towards APC/RICS qualifications
* A minimum of 1 years' relevant experience
* Diligent with attention to detail
* A pro-active and driven individual
* Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, members of the project team and your client
* Able to keep accurate records through minutes, risk registers, client reports and internal filing processes
* A full UK drivers licence
