Job Description:
Assisting the Managing Director with operational and marketing activities relating to exhibition management.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintain the operations database/spreadsheet, cross-checking information and updating records
• Ensure the show floor plans are up to date, amending where necessary.
• Creation and managing of exhibitor manual, involving liaison with official contractors and venues
• Responsible in ensuring exhibition stand plans comply with regulations and order forms are returned by deadlines
• Liaison with contractors, suppliers and exhibitors
• Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Organise and manage special projects relating to the exhibition; social events, theatres, workshops and features
• Customer service role to the exhibitors; providing assistance and answering queries
• Previous office-based administrative experience and understanding of the exhibition operations function, ideally with prior experience, but not essential as full training will be given
• Excellent communicator with happy to help personality
• Able to respond well to pressure. Organised, patient and methodical. Proactive and able to work on own initiative. Well presented with professional manner competent English grammar skills, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of all social media platforms
• Excellent attention to detail
• Enthusiastic can-do attitude
Salary commensurate with experience
