Gerrard White is currently looking for a Service Architect for a leading insurance group responsible for leading the development and maintenance of the IT Service Management Strategy.

This role will be responsible for defining THE IT Service Management strategy and for developing and maintaining a Service Architecture framework that enables our teams to deploy and manage IT services in a consistent, repeatable, efficient and automated manner.

This will include:

* IT Strategy and IT Governance
* Service Architecture and Service Design (including cloud Service Architecture)
* Service Integration and Management (SIAM)
* Service Management maturity framework development, implementation and maintenance (based on CMMI and ITIL v3)
* ServiceNow (or equivalent Service Management tooling)
* Team leadership and development
* Lead the development of our Service Architecture framework, standard Service Models and other artefacts that enable our teams to design operable services in a consistent and efficient way;
* Development of a Service Management maturity framework that delivers organisation and process maturity and capability into our IT support organisation (using frameworks such as ITIL, CoBIT and CMMI)
* Leading a team of Service Designers who work with Project Managers to introduce new services into the production support environment in a safe way

Suitable applicants will have previous experience within a similar role within a large enterprise scale environment.

The role will be based in Bromley which is easily commutable from London Victoria, Croydon, Surrey and Kent. Applications are also welcomed from anyone who is happy to be based in the Bromley area during the week returning home at the weekend.
