My client is an innovative, award winning Kent group looking to recruit an ambitious newly qualified accountant to their team in a newly created Financial Controller role. 

Reporting into the FD and bridging the gap between him and the accounts team, the successful candidate will help ensure the all statutory reporting requirements are met. You`ll help ensure that all relevant accounting standards are adhered to. You`ll work closely with department budget holders, ensuring that budgets and spend are well managed, with early interventions designed to minimise risk and exposure. You`ll help ensure that the overall groups strategic vision is supported through sound financial input and clsoe monitoring of cyclical KPI`s. 

The successful candidate will ideally be making a move out of practice into industry and be looking for an interesting and highly visual role. It is expected that there will naturally be a learning curve to challenge the successful candidate, but the support of a close knit team will help make the transition from practice to industry. Your technical abilities honed in practice and your personal application are the key requirements for this role.

You will also have a strong academic track record and the ability to work with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds. You will possess first rate communication skills and have a strong desire to progress your role within an ambitious team and company.
