AMJ IT is a growing IT Services company specialising in IT Infrastructure & Network Maintenance, Cloud Managed Services, Software Development and Website Design. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in IT Services to businesses to join our dynamic sales team.
Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for our company with Corporations and SMEs, in London, Kent and England South East.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing your own outbound leads, as well as following up inbound leads into prospects and following the full 360 sales cycle.
Be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales through sustained prospecting and activity.
Fully understand the business, buying and decision making process of the prospects as well as developing effective relationships with key contacts in the accounts.
Identifying potential requirements in accordance with our core business and to propose an adapted solutions with the help of our management and technical team.
Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of our market, including industry, competitors and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and implemented.
As part of the business development strategy, you will be expected to win new business monthly, meeting and exceeding your set revenue targets.
Conform to our sales reporting needs and ensuring that all business opportunities are managed effectively in our internal IT systems.
Key Skills
Must be commercially aware and proactive with a proven background in IT Sales
Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’
Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities.
Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation.
Excellent presentation as well organisational and time management skills.
Personal: confident, charismatic, presentable, team player, sales focused, good general knowledge.
Full clean driving licence
Salary
On-target Earnings: £35-45k
Basic Salary £20-25k
Commission, bonuses and benefits
