Mechanic
£8.80 - £11.80 per hour DOE
Howletts Wild Animal Park require an experienced Mechanic to provide maintenance and servicing for a variety of company vehicles. The successful candidate will carry out emergency repairs and general maintenance work on a wide range of vehicles including, agricultural, plant, trailers, minibuses, safari trucks and buggies.
You will be based at Howletts Wild Animal Park but will be expected to travel to our sister park Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve for emergency work. A full valid driving licence and a flexible attitude are essential for this position as is the ability to work well unsupervised, with good written and verbal communication skills. IT competent with the ability to use all the main MS Office products is also essential.
This position is full time working 40 hours per week. Working hours are: 7:30am to 4:00pm, five days out of seven, but will include weekends to provide cover for sickness and holidays when required.
This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a unique and challenging environment where no two days are the same. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
