Overview of position
This is a critical support role within the busy automation division, providing proactive response to the varying and often demanding Customer needs. The role requires good attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills together with persistence and resilience are key success drivers. An ability to think quickly and clearly will be required.
A good all round education and strong computer skills are crucial to carrying out duties efficiently and effectively. Excellent administration skills will be required to ensure the full and proper maintenance of the Clik data base and Technical manuals.
The role is customer led and the success is measured by meeting their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction. Jacksons uphold a strong ethos for not just producing quality products, but also the service we provide. This will require working to tight deadlines to achieve this goal.
Duties
• Updating customer database from engineer reports
• Produce Customer product manuals
• Issue Customer CE Declaration of Conformity
• Process the financial aspect of callout charges and prepare engineer paperwork
• Process new orders, creating new database records
• Schedule service visits
• Update Scala with service dates
• Book hotels
• Arrange intercom number changes with supplier
Key Responsibilities
• Achieve daily follow-up callout responses to all incoming requests
• Achieve scheduling of automation engineer to cover outstanding service visits to monthly requirement
• Raise awareness of the Jacksons maintenance contracts which are available
• Take appropriate actions when customer safety upgrade requirements have been identified
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
• Ensure that all operational and procedural guidelines for I.T./Business systems are followed to protect the data integrity
• Ensure that Company and Statutory Health & Safety requirements are met and maintained at all times.
• Be responsible for your own personal safety, act responsibly and respectfully at all times to protect the safety of all colleagues
Hours: Department open 8am to 5.30 (40 hours per week)
Must have transport due to location
Salary dependent on experience
