A great opportunity has arisen for an events/ exhibition sales person, to join this well established client in their new premises.
My client has a portfolio of exhibitions, conferences and awards. Being, market leaders in delivering events, across the UK and Ireland.
Working in a small but expanding team you will be tasked with selling and growing new and existing business within the exhibition/ events space. This role is office based with some client meetings and attendance at events required, therefore, some overnight stays might be required.
Making circa 35 calls per day, developing and maintaining excellent relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, partners and the rest of the event team.
Keeping up-to-date of market developments and identifying and researching new growth areas for sales,
Accurately recording sales on the CRM system; collating and producing sales plans and reports as required. At all times representing my client in a professional manner.
Professional, consultative and confident sales approach
Previous sales experience, ideally gained in the media or event sales industries
Strong interpersonal skills, rapport building skills
Team player who will work well in a commercially driven team
Self motivated and happy to work to targets
First class communication skills both over the phone and face to face
Excellent written English skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Basic salary circa 20 - 27k depending on experience plus commission.
