We are looking for a Property Manager to support our team based in Maidstone, Kent. General administrative skills are required, however we are seeking a candidate with a strong commitment to customer service, a lively personality and good telephone manner. Full training will be provided.
We are an independent agent who value their people and are committed to delivering excellent service. We are a busy office with an established team and expanding portfolio of properties under management.
Working in a busy office environment your key duties within the team will include:
- Assisting with the management of the private rented property portfolio across the south-east
- Handling a high volume of daily calls and emails, setting up repairs, gathering quotes and ensuring we continuously strive to provide an exceptional level of service to our clients
- Processing new tenancy applications and ensuring industry compliance
- Liaising with contractors and other property professionals to organise property maintenance
- Project management of major works and doing regular follow ups
- Accompanying Property & Block Managers to sites to meet clients and carry out inspections
- Support with tenancy terminations and deposit return negotiations
- Being a team player and working closely with colleagues in other areas of the business is critical
- All connected office admin, writing letters, keeping files and database records
Property experience and knowledge is preferred but not essential for this role - you must however have experience in an office/customer service environment preferably at senior level, be well spoken and presented.
You should write well, have a confident telephone manner, enjoy problem solving and be able to organise and manage a busy workload. Full training will be provided as part of the role with opportunities available to progress your career.
A driving licence is preferred, salary dependent upon experience.
Office based role with working hours 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.
