Sage and Accounting Assistant
Part-time
8.5 hours over one day per five day week
The Carmelite Charitable Trust (registered charity) runs the Faversham based Shrine Office. Income generated by the Shrine supports the work of the charity and the British Province of Carmelites.
This income broadly falls into four areas:
i. Income in response to a mass market newsletter which generates donations alongside amounts generated by an annual raffle; donations at the shrine; Guild of Saint Jude membership; and sales of religious items
ii. Legacies (wills)
iii. Income generated online – shop; donations; and other areas
iv. Rent
The post holder will administer weekly book keeping and Sage entries/reconciliation. The post holder will report to the Development Manager.
