Do you have extensive experience of working in a busy administrative role? Are you highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure?
If you have the ability to work using your own initiative with minimal supervision, we are offering an opportunity to join our busy HEAT (Higher Education Access Tracker) team on a fixed term (until 31 December 2020) and part time basis, namely 21 hours per week.
HEAT provides a service supporting targeting, monitoring and evaluation of outreach activities to more than 100 providers of higher education (HE) outreach across the country.
As Administrative Assistant, you will:
provide administrative support to the HEAT team based in Canterbury
support the financial administration of the HEAT service
organise, book and communicate travel arrangements for the HEAT team
administer and maintain member, supplier and contractors agreements/contracts, including maintenance of records on the member database
To succeed in this role you will have:
experience of working in a customer service environment
excellent communication skills, both written and oral
excellent IT skills, particularly MS packages
the understanding of and the ability to explain relevant policies and procedures
The H.E.A.T project sits within the Partnership Development Office. The Partnership Development Office is responsible for supporting the implementation of the University’s widening participation strategy and for developing partnerships in the region, with a particular focus on sub-regional partnerships, in support of this strategy. The Partnership Development Office is part of the Enrolment Management Services (EMS) comprising the Recruitment and Admissions Office, the Publishing Office and the Scholarships and Foreign Loans Office.
