To move and sort parcels/mail efficiently within the warehouse in line with Company policies. To place freight cargo within specified driver/loading bays.
➢ Role responsibilities
Unloading parcels/mail from cages/pallets and loose cargo
All goods are handled with care
All freight to be scanned with an inter warehouse scanners
Damaged, incorrect labelling and mis-routed items is to be brought to the attention of a Supervisor or Manager
Warehouse ‘house-keeping’ – ensuring the environment is kept clean and tidy
Reporting unsalable or damaged stock
Adhere to all security Policies and Procedures
Stock movements within the warehouse
Health and safety compliance
Comply with Company guidelines in relation to timekeeping, attendance, work performance, appearance and appropriate behaviour whilst on site.
Be a reliable and trustworthy member of the team
Always act professionally
Attention to detail
Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested
➢Other Information:
Hours of work: 02:00 am – 08:00/10:00 am, Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday, 5 shifts a week, minimum of 30 hours a week, however flexibility is required within this role.
➢Pay Rate:
£8.21 per hour
